The System That Changed Treat Time
Fynn's favorite way to burn time and energy when the sun's not out.
We've been using Woof's Pupsicle treat system for three years now and not only does Fynn LOVE them, they provide much needed stimulation for her when the weather isn't all sunshine and roses, or when there's wall to wall zooms or deadlines abound for her human.
The Pupsicle treat tray is a reusable dishwasher safe silicone mold that creates frozen treats you can fill with anything dog-safe. Durable and so inexpensive when we look at the cost per use, this system has opened up a whole new world. We know every ingredient in her treats, they last for 10-20 mins depending on what they're made of, we can use her regular food and mix in good-for-her additions like pumpkin puree (we order sustainably farmed organic in bulk from Thrive Market). They take very little effort and active time.
The best part is that unlike a Kong or other single-fill treat, we make these in bulk and have stacks of frozen treats on hand. We rinse the pubcicle with cold water to avoid any microplastic release, then pop a treat into the holder. Batching the process is a transformation for human assistant and doggo alike.
Woof is an independently owned Denver-based company founded by engineer Daniel Haarburger, who invented the Pupsicle to help his own dog Milo during recovery. We love supporting founders who solve real problems for their own pets first — and buying direct means more of your money goes to the people doing the work.
Our go-to recipe:
One packet of Ollie fresh food
One scoop of Jinx dry food
One can of pumpkin puree
Sometimes we add salmon skin or egg yolks if they're in the rotation for her regular meals
Mix, freeze in batches, store, and you're set for weeks.
